So many delightful goodies! My favourite Christmas was 1996, so I’m just three years behind you with the nostalgic feels. Great round up, as always Eleanor! 🎄🥰 And happy Christmas to you! xx
Gorgeous edit! This year I finally snapped and decided I actually hate white Christmas tree lights - since when did they take over?! - and went on a hunt for coloured ones like the retro bulb-shaped strings of my childhood (which were actually from my mum's childhood, 50-60s, still work but almost certainly a fire hazard). I found many on American websites but the closest here in the UK are the "Canterbury Belle" style ones you linked to. So not as nostalgic as I was after but they look great on my tree.
My current bugbear is finding a lovely topper - I bought a delicate vintage glass one on Etsy but the opening is way too small for my on-steroids 8ft tree. I guess everything really has got bigger over the years!
Thank you! I weirdly have the opposite issue! I've bought two tree toppers that I've never been able to use because the opening is so enormous that it just fell straight off. We need to meet somewhere in the middle 😂
BIG HARD SAME TO ALL OF THIS! Blue-white lights can go to hell. (I was just ranting to Jay yesterday about how I cannot abide the multicolor lights that have an overall blue tint. MUST BE PINK!) You found such great stuff — I want it all!!!!

Oh thank you, same to you! And totally agree, '96 was also a vintage year as far as great childhood memories go! x
Already looking forward to next christmas and decorating with all this stuff, such good recommendations!
Thank you! I'll definitely be shopping from it myself too! I've already used my own Christmas gift guide for gifts for ...me 😂

I liked a few things from this site too but they don't ship outside of the US, just in case you're a woman on the edge of buying a wooden candle holder https://www.heirloomartco.com/collections/christmas
Oooo CUTE! I’ve never heard of this place before but love! Thanks for the hot tip!
Aw isn’t this joyous 😍
