I’m currently looking for a new rug to place underneath our dining table and because of the need to move chairs over it and the [strong] chance of food spillages, I don’t want anything with a pile. I’ve gone on many a deep-dive of Nain Trading in my time as their array of one-off flatweaves is vast and there’s always a great stripe to be had. This one is £742.
I bought a vintage brown woven leather handbag from eBay in 2017 because it reminded me of Bottega and it was only £15. To this day, I still use it three or four times a week, such is its versatility and timelessness. If I didn’t have a near-identical bag already, I’d snap-up the Grace woven leather bag by Dragon Diffusion, it’s £345 from Net-a-Porter. To be honest I may well buy one anyway.
When I bought the Vitsoe shelving in our living room I seriously considered the USM Haller range. I didn’t buy it as it wasn’t the best solution for my books but if I were buying a sideboard or bedsides now, or even a low TV bench (they come in many heights and configurations), this is what I’d choose. The founder of Marrakech-based homeware brand LRNCE has just opened a stylish new riad called Rosemary. If there’s one thing we can do for the community in and around Marrakech to help them rebuild after the earthquake, it’s to go there on holiday and spend money. I came across this Chrome mushroom lamp by HK Living a while ago and I think it’s excellent! It keeps selling out as it’s not a brand-new style but End Clothing currently have it in stock and it costs £269.
I’ve been a lifelong lover of 100% cotton, non-stretch seventies (or could-be seventies) denim. I’ve yet to try them on but I’ve got my eye on this straight pair from & Other Stories. They’re £85.
Elliott Pittam is an incredibly talented tattoo artist known on Instagram as @paradisehellbow. Recently, he started to paint large-scale abstract artworks and he’s annoyingly good at that too.
